Answard Terms of Service

Effective date: 3 November 2026

Answard is an Android app that checks incoming calls and includes an assistant called Ask. Answard is offered by an individual developer in India ("we", "us"). Our name and contact details are on Answard's Google Play page. By using Answard you agree to these terms.

1. Who can use Answard

You must be 18 or older. You need an Android phone. Ask needs a Google account and an internet connection.

2. What Answard does, and its limits

Answard decides which calls ring on your phone, using the rules and groups you set. No call screening is perfect. Answard may silence a call you wanted, or let through a call you did not want. Do not rely on Answard alone for calls you must not miss, such as emergency or medical calls. Check your rules, and use the Activity screen to see what Answard did.

3. Ask and AI

Ask lets you tell Answard what you want by typing or speaking. It sends your request to Google's Gemini AI service to work out what you want. AI can make mistakes. Before anything changes, Answard shows you on screen what it will do. Nothing changes until you tap to confirm. Check it before you tap.

4. Trial, plan and top-ups

  • Asks count only when you type or speak to Ask. Everything Ask does, you can also do with the app's buttons, and buttons never use Asks. Voice messages use more than typing.
  • New accounts can use the whole app free for 7 days. Ask is included, with about 6 Asks.
  • After the trial, without a plan, you are on the free plan: 2 short rules a day, only Family can ring. Blocked numbers stay blocked.
  • The paid plan is billed by Google Play, monthly or yearly. Google Play shows the price in your currency before you pay.
  • The plan renews by itself until you cancel it in the Play Store. Uninstalling Answard or deleting your account does not cancel it.
  • The plan includes a monthly amount of Ask use. Answard shows about how many Asks you have left.
  • Top-ups are one-time purchases that add more Asks. You can buy them while you have the paid plan, and use them only while you have it. Top-up Asks last 12 months from purchase; unused ones then end.
  • Refunds follow Google Play's refund policies. This does not take away any right to a refund that your local law gives you.

5. Fair use

Do not use Answard to break the law or to harm anyone. Do not try to get around the Ask limits, break into our server, copy or resell the service, or overload it.

6. Your data

Our Privacy Policy explains what data Answard handles and how to delete it. You can delete your account at any time in the app (Account, then Delete my data) or at answard.com/delete.

7. Changes to Answard and to these terms

We may change, add or remove features. We do not keep your email address or phone number, so we cannot write to you about changes. When we change these terms, we put the new terms on this page with a new effective date, and we mention the change in the app's update notes on Google Play. Please check this page from time to time. If you do not agree with new terms, stop using Answard and cancel your plan in the Play Store. If we ever stop offering Answard, we will say so on this page and on our Google Play page first, and paid time already bought will be handled under Google Play's policies.

8. No guarantee

We work to keep Answard reliable, but we provide it "as is", without promises that it will always work or never make a mistake. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for missed or silenced calls, and our total responsibility to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the problem. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.

9. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. If you live in the EU or the UK, you also keep the protections of the consumer law where you live.
